Founder & Director / Trustee
For over 35 years, Paul Dass has been committed to empowering underprivileged communities across India through innovative, hands-on approaches to development. Trained as a physiotherapist, Paul’s journey has taken him far beyond the clinical setting—into the roles of entrepreneur, craftsman, artist, agriculturist, social worker, and community builder.
His core belief is simple yet powerful: empower people so they can empower others. He envisions social transformation as a collective effort, where every individual contributes meaningfully to create lasting impact.
Paul has recently completed his first book on the concept of ‘Tent-making’—a unique and practical guide for grassroots leaders and field workers. With plans to translate it into at least five Indian languages, he hopes it will serve as an accessible resource for changemakers across the country.

Stephen Dass
Executive Director / Trustee
Stephen brings together professional expertise and a passion for social impact. With an MBA in Human Resource Management and rich experience in the corporate sector, he transitioned into the development space over fifteen years ago.
His leadership role at proVISION INDIA spans operations, project development, and building partnerships that enable sustainable growth. Since 2010, Stephen has worked closely with teams across various initiatives, combining strategic thinking with a heart for empowering communities.
He currently leads the development of proVISION INDIA’s vocational training initiatives and new project development.

Asha M. Scariya
Secretary / Trustee
After graduating in Apparel Design, Asha began her journey in the fashion and textile industry with roles in sourcing, merchandising, and eventually product design and development.
Her career took on deeper meaning when she joined a global organisation committed to fighting human trafficking, where she specialised in designing high-end, ethically made products.
Today, Asha is channeling her expertise and passion into setting up a training facility aimed at equipping urban poor women with market-ready skills. Her vision is to empower women to become self-sufficient, confident contributors to their families and communities.
Asha believes that when women are empowered with the right tools and opportunities, they not only uplift themselves but spark generational change.
